Leticia Urieta (she/her/hers) is a Tejana writer from Austin, TX. She works as a teaching artist and freelance writer and editor. She is the author of Las Criaturas, published in 2021 by Flowersong Press and was a finalist for the Sergio Troncoso Award for Best First Book of Fiction 2022 from the Texas Institute of Letters. Her poetry chapbook, Offerings to a Tumbled Temple was published in 2025 from Purple Ink Press and her dark fiction collection, The Remedy is the Disease, is forthcoming in May 2026 from Undertaker Books.
