James Tynion IV started his career at DC Comics, spending 10 years honing his craft on Batman comics before breaking out on his own creating the most celebrated, bestselling horror comics of the last decade, which have earned him five Eisner Awards -- The most prestigious award in the comics industry. His independent production house, Tiny Onion, oversees his comic properties for many of the industry's top publishers, and their adaptations across multimedia. These projects include Something Is Killing The Children at Blumhouse with Boom! Studios, Exquisite Corpses and Room Service with Lyrical Media, and the adult animated series W0rldtr33 at Netflix. Tynion is co-founder and chair of BODEGA, The Brooklyn Organization Dedicated to the Endurance of the Graphic Arts, a comics non-profit that oversees the annual Brooklyn Expo of Comics. He lives and works in Brooklyn, and is represented by United Talent Agency, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and TroyGould.
