Not your average data scientist, she once sued slumlords and advocated for affordable housing in Southern California. Her gothic historical fantasy, Chasing Moonflowers, and co-edited anthology, Coven of the East: Reimagining Asian Women's Magical Histories, are 2025 finalists for Indies Forword Books of the Year.
