Kendall Phillips is a Bram Stoker nominated author and scholar who writes about horror in popular culture. He is author of several books, including Projected Fears: Horror Films and American Culture, Dark Directions: Romero, Craven, Carpenter, and the Modern Horror Film, and A Place of Darkness: The Rhetoric of Horror in Early American Cinema. His debut novel, No One Can Save Us, was published in 2025 by Nightmare Press.
