About me
I've been a professional marketing writer for 15+ years and have often written fiction as a hobby. I'm now interested in publishing in horror and am hard at work on my second draft of a manuscript called Trapped in the Dead House, featuring S.F. East Bay punks who get summoned to a strange home with terrible secrets and cosmic underpinnings.
I am also the co-host of the podcast Dusk to Dawn: Reading Horror and Weird Fiction, recorded with my wife who is an editor (and is attending with me - come say hi!). We read and discuss a horror book every two weeks, with a break in the summer. We're kicking off Season 3 this fall.
Some of my favorite writers include Gene Wolfe, Brian Evenson, John Langon, Ursula K. Le Guin, Thomas Ligotti, Alan Moore, James Joyce and many others across horror plus some non-fiction, mythology, and literary fiction.
